Dr. Bellinghiere was born and raised in the city of Omaha, Nebraska.  Following graduation from Creighton Prep high school he attended the University of Miami from 1969-1970 and Creighton University from 1971-1974, where he received his bachlor's degree.  He followed in his father's footsteps and became a graduate of Creighton Dental School in 1978.  He practiced in South Omaha at 24th & K Street for 10 years and has been located in "The Center", Omaha's first shopping center, since 1987.  Our office is conveniently located on the 3rd level or the "top" parking level.  Look for the office between the elevator and stairwell.

He is one of only few hundred dentists in the world that is certified in the use of the PerioLase Laser for treatment of periodontal disease.   Learn more about the PerioLase from the tab called "Laser Periodontal Therapy".  Dr. Bellinghiere also currently uses the Tek-Scan for the adjustment of occlusion (your bite) and a Diagnodent for cavity detection.  He takes pride in keeping abreast with the latest techniques and treatments for the best dental care he can provide for his patients.  He attends up to three times the number of continuing education courses required by the state of Nebraska for dental licensure.  Being on the cutting edge of dentistry is one of his personal goals.

Technology is a very big part of Dr. Bellinghiere's practice.  He has fully computerized operatories with digital x-rays that can be viewed from the computer moniters instantly.  You can see the work that has been completed as well as the work that is needed with color coded screens or view 3-D versions of your mouth.  The doctor can have you view educational software to help educate you on your dental needs. 

Dr. Bellinghiere will put you at ease with his explanations of treatments and help you in making your decisions about your dental health.  His knowledge and compassion will make you confident in the care that you receive in our office.  He can present you with treatment plans for the immediate needs as well as help you plan for your future health care needs.  Remember the health of your mouth can affect your entire general health.
